HOLLE`s History and Sustainability
The Holle Company was founded by Albert Difenbach in Arlsheim, Switzerland, in 1933. Today, Peter Kropf and Udo Fischer are the company`s current managing directors. With over 80 years since Holle began manufacturing baby food, they’ve perfected their process. Using Demeter biodynamic farming practices (the most stringent organic standards), Holle ensures their products are in harmony with nature while fulfilling the highest legal, safety, and nutritional requirements. The products are made from 99% organically grown ingredients and the milk comes from cows that are raised in a caring, appropriate environment.
Holle uses only the best quality ingredients. The production of Holle formula milk and porridges takes place in Germany; the rice comes from Italy and millet grain from Hungary.
While other US formulas are loaded with harmful ingredients, Holle organic formula is made from organic ingredients free from pesticides, herbicides, GMO ingredients, antibiotics, hormones, or artificial and synthetic ingredients. The formulas are wheat, gluten and peanut free, without added sugars like corn syrup, rice syrup, glucose syrup, fructose, and table sugar. The only carbohydrates, as the source of energy are lactose and maltodextrin.
This premium quality organic baby food is ideal for bottle-feeding or preparing porridge. The fatty acid profile and nutrients such as vitamins C, A, E and B as well as essential minerals provide everything your baby needs to grow strong and stay healthy.
Holle formula is available in the following stages in both Cow and Goat base:
Stage 1: Birth Onwards
Stage 2: 6-10 Months
Stage 3: 10-12 Months
Stage 4: 12 Months and on
